The Cuban Fund of Cultural Assets in Pinar del Rio will represent the province in the 21st Havana International Craftwork Fair to take place in Havane from December 5-17. This time the event is dedicated to the province of Santiago de Cuba and to glass art.
This edition will once again become a space of exchange among different cultures which favor an approach to the development of craftwork around the world. Our region will exhibit the best of its art; hence creators should display pieces representing cultural identity and tradition.
Pottery, furniture, fur, among others will be part of several independent stands. Among the groups and artists that will participate are Coral, MACURA, Arte en Familia (Art in family), COHOBArt, SILVA, YARPED, IBEYES, HANOY, SABAT, Rustivani and creators Alejandro Blanco, and Yoel Armas.
During the fair theoretical events will be held on topics related to the development of contemporary craftwork, with the participation of foreign and national creators and specialists.
